Kachi Studio ("we," "our," or "us") provides mobile applications and related websites. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use our apps, websites, support channels, and related services.

Developer and Store Listing Information

Our apps may be distributed under different developer or seller names depending on the platform. This policy applies to apps operated, supported, or published by the Kachi Studio app family.

Google Play Apps Covered by This Policy

The Google Play apps currently covered by this policy are listed below. This section is scoped for the apps that are currently published or submitted under the Google Play developer name Kachi Technology.

Apple App Store and Other Kachi Studio Apps Covered

This same policy also covers Kachi Studio apps distributed on the Apple App Store under the seller / developer name 永铸 郭, and other Kachi Studio apps that link to this page. Apps in this section are not necessarily available on Google Play yet.

Data Practices for Current Google Play Apps

This section describes the data practices for the current Google Play apps listed above: Scale for Grams: AI Weight, Crochet Patterns: Amigurumi, and Jewelry Appraisal - Heirloom. The data collected depends on the features you choose and the permissions you grant.

• Photos, camera input, and uploaded images: You may choose to take or select a photo so the app can estimate weight or dimensions, count objects, identify objects, extract color palettes, create an editable amigurumi-style crochet draft, or provide jewelry identification and value-estimation insights. Images are processed only when you choose to scan, upload, or analyze them.
• Text, prompts, and user-provided content: You may enter descriptions, questions, project details, measurements, item descriptions, notes, or prompts needed to provide the requested app feature.
• AI analysis inputs and outputs: When you request AI analysis, the relevant image, text, and context may be sent to our secure backend or to third-party AI providers such as Google Gemini / Google AI services to generate a response.
• Purchase and subscription information: If you purchase a subscription or use a premium feature, we and our subscription provider may process app store transaction identifiers, entitlement status, renewal status, and related purchase metadata.
• Device, app, and diagnostics data: We may process technical data such as app version, device type, operating system, request timestamps, error logs, and security logs to keep the services reliable and secure.
• Support communications: If you contact us by email, we collect your email address and the information you include so we can respond to your request.

How We Use Information for Current Google Play Apps

We use information for the current Google Play apps to:

• Provide AI-powered weight and dimension estimation, object counting, object identification, color palette extraction, amigurumi crochet draft creation, jewelry identification, estimated market value ranges, historical context, care guidance, explanations, summaries, and generated guidance.
• Provide subscriptions, restore purchases, unlock premium features, and prevent purchase fraud.
• Maintain app safety, debug errors, improve reliability, and protect our services from abuse.
• Respond to support requests and communicate about service, policy, or app-related matters.
• Comply with legal obligations, platform rules, and app store review requirements.

Third-Party Services for Current Google Play Apps

We use trusted service providers only as needed to operate app functionality. Their processing is subject to their own privacy policies and contractual terms.

• RevenueCat: Subscription management, purchase status, entitlement checks, and restore-purchase functionality.
• Google Play Billing and Apple App Store: Payment processing and app store subscription management for the applicable platform.
• Google Gemini / Google AI services: AI analysis for images, prompts, weight and dimension estimates, object counting, object identification, color palette extraction, amigurumi draft assistance, jewelry identification, estimated value ranges, historical context, care guidance, summaries, recommendations, and generated content when you request those features.
• Cloudflare Workers / Cloudflare Pages: Website hosting, API proxying, security, rate limiting, and operational logs.

Additional Practices for Other Apps

The following practices apply only to other Kachi Studio apps that include the relevant feature. They do not apply to every app and should not be read as saying that Scale for Grams: AI Weight or Crochet Patterns collect every category below.

• Optional location and weather context: Some apps, such as fish or catch-log features, may use location or approximate location only when you grant permission or enter it, for example to add weather or regional context to a log.
• Marketplace and valuation data: Some resale, collectible, toy, stamp, antique, or thrift-analysis apps may use item photos, text descriptions, and search terms to retrieve marketplace comparables or value-estimation context from services such as eBay.
• Optional fitness, health, or habit data: Apps such as Align Pilates and Poop Tracker may process workout preferences, habit logs, digestive symptoms, hydration, nutrition, or Apple Health data if you choose to enter it or enable Apple Health sync. Health-related data is used only to provide app functionality and is not used for advertising or tracking.
• Additional third-party services: Other apps may use eBay services and affiliate links for valuation features, Open-Meteo for weather context, BigDataCloud for optional location context, and Apple Health / HealthKit for user-approved health data sync.

AI Processing and User Content

Several apps rely on AI to provide their core functionality. When you tap a scan, solve, identify, chat, generate, or similar action, you instruct the app to send the relevant content to our backend and/or AI service providers for processing. AI results may be inaccurate and should be reviewed by you before relying on them for important decisions.

We do not sell your photos, prompts, health-related entries, or AI results. We do not use health-related data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

PooPal AI Scan Processing and Consent

Choosing or capturing a photo in PooPal does not by itself send an AI request. The photo remains in local staging while PooPal displays its data-sharing disclosure. The AI Scan request is sent only after you explicitly tap Agree and analyze; you may cancel instead.

• Data sent: PooPal sends one normalized JPEG analysis copy of the photo selected for that scan, the image/jpeg MIME type, a random request identifier, the app/device locale, and the fixed scan-contract version.
• Recipients and purpose: The request is sent over HTTPS to PooPal's configured Cloudflare Worker. The Worker forwards the normalized image to Google Gemini to suggest visible stool characteristics such as Bristol type, stool color, image quality, visible features, and confidence.
• Data not included: The AI Scan request does not include your name, email address, account, contacts, profile, symptoms, food records, notes, other tracker records, original file URI, unrelated photos, or an arbitrary user prompt.
• Review before saving: AI Scan is an assistive classification feature, not a diagnosis or medical advice. PooPal does not automatically save the suggestion. You review and confirm the values before creating a tracker entry.
• Local storage: PooPal does not store the uploaded Base64 payload or complete raw Gemini response in its local database. The staged analysis copy is removed when the scan is cancelled or finishes. A separate local photo is retained only when you save it with an entry.
• Your choice: You can withdraw AI Scan consent from Settings. The next AI Scan will ask again. Withdrawing consent does not delete local records or photos; PooPal provides a separate Delete All Data control for locally managed data.

The PooPal Worker is designed not to persist raw image payloads or complete model responses in its application storage. Cloudflare and Google may process limited request, operational, or security data under their applicable terms and retention practices. PooPal does not represent third-party AI processing as guaranteed zero retention.

Grass Identifier AI Processing and Consent

Grass Identifier does not send a grass-identification or Lawn AI request until you have viewed the in-app disclosure and explicitly agreed to share the data described below. You may cancel instead, in which case the request is not sent.

• Photo identification: If you choose a photo, the app creates a normalized JPEG analysis copy and sends that copy. The original selected image is not sent as a separate file.
• Text identification: If you identify by text, the app sends the grass description you entered instead of a photo.
• Additional identification context: The request also includes the app language, your lawn goal, and an optional saved location only when you chose to save and use one.
• Recipients and purpose: The request goes first to a Kachi Studio-operated Cloudflare Worker, which forwards it to Google Gemini. These services process the data to identify grass species or visible condition and generate lawn-care guidance.
• Lawn AI: If you later use Lawn AI, the app sends your question and recent chat history together with relevant saved grass-identification details, care guidance, lawn goal or use, optional saved location, and weather context through the same Cloudflare Worker to Google Gemini so it can answer your lawn-care question.
• Data not automatically included: Grass Identifier does not automatically add your name, email address, contacts, or unrelated photos to these AI requests.
• Local records: Structured identification results, care guidance, chat history, and the source photo for an image-based identification may be stored locally on your device. The app does not save the Base64-encoded analysis copy or the complete raw Gemini response envelope as a local app record.
• Your choice: You can withdraw the saved AI consent in Settings. Grass Identifier will ask again before another identification or Lawn AI request. Withdrawing consent does not delete local history or photos; you can delete those records in the app or remove them by uninstalling the app.

Cloudflare and Google process AI request data under their applicable terms, privacy commitments, and operational security practices. We do not promise that third-party processing has zero retention; request data and limited operational or security logs may be handled for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and protect the service.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited situations:

• With service providers that process information on our behalf to provide app functionality, subscriptions, AI analysis, hosting, security, diagnostics, or support.
• With app stores and payment processors to complete purchases, restore subscriptions, and manage refunds or billing issues.
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.
• To protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, our apps, and our services.

Your Choices and Permissions

• Camera and photo library: You can grant, deny, or revoke camera/photo access in your device settings. If you revoke access, scan or upload features may not work.
• Location: Apps that request location use it only for optional features. You can disable location access in device settings.
• Apple Health: For apps that support HealthKit, you can control read/write permissions in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
• Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play or the Apple App Store subscription settings.
• Deletion requests: You can request deletion of data associated with your email or support request by contacting support@kachi-studio.com.

Data Retention and Deletion

Many app records are stored locally on your device unless you choose to send content for cloud or AI processing. Local data can usually be removed by deleting it inside the app or uninstalling the app. Content sent for AI processing, support, security, or diagnostics is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

If an app offers an account or cloud-sync feature, we will provide deletion instructions in the app or through support. You can also contact us at support@kachi-studio.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your use of our services.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are intended for general audiences and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International Users

Your information may be processed in countries or regions other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing and service-provider transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new apps, features, services, legal requirements, or app store policy changes. We will update the effective date when we make material changes.
